Ruby – classic drinking, farward thinking

Behind a humble and discreet door in the heart of the historic city, lies the exclusive cocktail bar, Ruby. Located in a classic Copenhagen apartment from the 17th Century, the atmosphere is a delicate mix of a gentleman’s club and a party at a friend’s house.

Inspired by the historical setting and the handcrafted décor, the visual identity is in keeping with Ruby’s atmosphere. The use of historical paintings is a reference to the neighbour, Thorvaldsens Museum. Visual elements, taken from 17th Century, with still life flowers and social gatherings with people enjoying liquor, invite guests on an imaginary journey that reflects present reality.
