Heart of Denmark – The Danish Pavilion at the Rio Olympics

A global showcase for Denmark during one of the world's most visible events: the Olympic Games. Heart of Denmark was the headline for the Danish pavilion on Ipanema beach in Rio, which presented the best of Danish design, lifestyle, cities and creativity. The pavilion's concept was built around something that Denmark and Brazil have in common – our joy in community and our ability to work together. With over 190,000 visitors, the temporary pavilion at Copa Cabana in Rio became a gathering place for many and simultaneously served as the setting for a wide range of activities for Danish culture and business during the Rio Olympics.
